The Brief
King’s College Hospital was looking to create a healthcare marketing video, a film that encourages healthcare professionals to join their child health team. This medical video production would serve as a recruiting tool and should introduce viewers to the opportunities offered by the Trust, including medical training, career progression and King’s inclusive and supportive culture.
The video needed to be authentic and feature interviews with a variety of different team members. It needed to include a mix of staff including recent joiners and people who have progressed in the department since being newly qualified, to show the opportunities offered at King’s.
The Film
We worked collaboratively with the child health team from kick-off to final delivery to identify the key messaging and narrative for the video. What was clear from the very beginning, was the genuine passion amongst the child health team and their shared goal of improving the patient experience and safety.
We really wanted to bring King’s spirit to life in our film and chose to capture team members against a green screen, selecting different colours as their backdrop in post-production to reflect the vibrancy of the department. We interviewed a range of different team members including nursing associates, clinical practitioners, and neonatal and paediatric matrons to represent King’s authentic voice and highlight the progression and development opportunities offered by the trust in our NHS.
